Passion

I really like it when a girl has a passion about something.  No, I’m not talking about her man either.  I like a girl that has something she’s really interesting in, something she really enjoys doing, something she’s passionate about.  One of the many characteristics that really draw me to a girl is when I can see that she really loves something unique.  I like it when a girl can stand up for what she likes and declare it to the world, regardless of how they view her.

These kinds of things really draw me to a girl for some reason.  I find it interesting.  I tend to take notice of their hobbies, their likes and then take notice of them.  When people “rate” someone, they think it’s based on looks alone.  What they don’t realize is that a person’s personality can make them physically look a lot more attractive to the viewer.  There’s a Japanese term for it, referring to the shoulders.  For girls, it’s generally “I never knew his shoulders were this broad” or a similar translation.

For me, the passion a girl shows is what can make them physically more attractive.  There have been a few (though rare) times that I looked at a girl and thought she was pretty average.  After seeing what she did and seeing how she was, she suddenly jumped up a few points on the scale.  She wasn’t like OMG WOW SO HOT all of a sudden, but I definitely thought she was way more cute than she was at first glance.

These are also the types of girls that really make a lasting impression on me.  Maybe that’s why you still make small laps around my mind after all this time.
